Just visited Brinker's new website at www.bobbrinker.com and
learned Brinker will make his first 1997 public appearance
in Rochester New York on October 7th to benefit the Children's
Hospital and celebrate WHAM's seventy-fifth anniversary. Anybody
here planning on attending to find out what Brinker is saying?
Brinker almost never appears in person....very rare indeed.
Also noticed website headline calling attention to Brinker's
next national television appearance on Friday October 17
on the Nightly Business Report on PBS TV. Perhaps he will update
his buy recommendation on Uniphase UNPH in January at 45 (now 64)
and Stanford Telecom STII at 16 (now 25). Average gain on these
two home runs of about 50% since January. Its like printing money!
