Hey Max, good to hear things are well up north. Apparently Hart had turned down Division 1 football to stay close to home and play baseball for family reasons. Ended up eventually playing for his local community college then working with young people at his local YMCA.

The Arena 2 league ( didn't even know there was an Arena 2 league ) had a coach who remembered him from high school who invited him to a tryout. After a year there it was a year in the Arena league, a year in NFL Europe and eventually the Eagles.

Eagles originally signed him to develop him as a running back. The guy is just a great all around athlete and seems like good people too. I think he could make it in this league as a DB, RB or even wide receiver.

Never has tooted his own horn; all week when asked about his accomplishments this year he only replied he was thrilled to be able to show young people to never give up on their dreams, whatever they may be. If you work hard, good things can happen for you in the end.

Sounds like a guy a notch above most spoiled pro athletes.
