Well now we know the whole story. Or do we?

No need to get up over this one Hawk. This is an old story that has been rewritten by a non-combatant, who was not there, for pay. Let's see where it goes.

This river valley was a very unfriendly area.
The Song Ve valley was a known major NVA stronghold in 66 and 67.
It was heavily bombed by B52s then.

We had positions along that river for the duration.

Criminal investigators worked the story for 5 years and substantiated nothing and could not get a charge filed.
Former members of the platoon are coming forward again to speak out. Let's be certain to listen closest to those who were in the unit during the 6 months in question.

And remember 5 years ago CNN, Time Magazine and Peter Arnett published a similar story of atrocities by US Special Forces. They called the story "Operation Tailwind".

The story was total bullshit. In the end, Time retracted the story completely. CNN did too. Ted Turner apologized, and Peter Arnett was fired.
