Heh heh...I don't make any contributions to NAR. Am not a Realtor, but I'll show you what I can do with the broker's license, computer, and very little start-up capital that I do have.

I can set up a website, publish the MLS on it (if the brokers in NAR will give the data to me), and then collect emails from interested buyers and sellers all over the country and sell those leads to brokers all over the country for 25-35 percent of the commission they would earn by working those leads.

Personally, I think brokers have a right to run their businesses as they see fit and collect their own leads by advertising their own inventory, and I think they have a right not to share that inventory with a bandit like me.

Otherwise, I could just sit in front of my computer all day and make money without lifting a finger. Could make an additional pile of dough if I get enough hits on my website to convince advertisers for pay for banner ads and pop-ups, too.
