Two LED studies from Navigant Consulting: "Energy Savings Estimate of Light Emitting Diodes in Niche Lighting Applications" "Energy Savings Potential of Solid State Lighting in General Illumination Applications" netl.doe.gov Both studies were presented at the Solid State Lighting Workshop, held November 13-14 in Washington, D.C. and hosted by the US Department of Energy’s Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (Building Technologies Program). No charge, since we paid for these studies. Navigant (NYSE:NCI) gives a summary in their press release today. Also of interest, on the SSL Workshop home page there are two earlier reports published by OIDA: "OLED Roadmap" and "LED Roadmap" (August and November 2002).
