Exactly, one must be patient.

The rise to $399.80 (not $400) gives me two thoughts:

1) don't count your chickens before they hatch

2) close only counts in archery, darts, horseshoes, and hand grenades

Someone obviously does not want gold over $400,
and I still think "they" just might keep it under $400 in 2003.
