This is an old story about how there is fraud on Ebay on occasion. Also, old story about how sellers are angry about various terms and changes of contract and threatening to leave. But there is fraud everywhere, and you can protect yourself to some degree on Ebay. Using Paypal I think protects you to amount of $100. You can look at ratings of sellers. Someone with a good long-term rating will not want to jeopardize it. And just don’t buy anything too expensive, unless maybe it is something you can pick up yourself for verification.

Ebay has that critical mass such that most sellers will use them, and therefore most buyers.

I doubt that Ebay’s foray into used cars will be productive for them.

I believe Ebay is terribly overvalued. Always has been. Awful hard to see the right time to short, though. Be careful.
