Rick,

I have noticed increasingly common slow fills from MASH in recent weeks, both through Eschwab and through direct routing from other firms. There has certainly been a trend towards more discretion on the part of their traders on filling orders that should be within the autoexecute guidelines for the order source. I like anything handled by mash 95% of the time but this trend is real and has been noticed by others in the industry that I communicate with. I fully agree that many (if not most) posters on this thread do not understand the mechanics of the nasdaq and what happens when certain types/sizes of orders are sent off to the wholesaler but I HAVE noticed mash traders scalping my orders when once they wouldn't have.
