Where are the Congressman and Senators that used to care about civil liberties and government encroachment? Now any new proposal is rubber stamped and flies right through Congress to the Presidents desk. Does he have that much power? Wait till America sees the new national id system based on biometrics. Hopefully that will get some attention but too late? It's hard to turn back the clock. And I've never heard of a government agency ever being abolished despite the promises of politicians to do so.
