I do not trade these things just kind of watch.
But futures are far more leveraged than that fund I would assume.

I was also watching 10 yr not 30 so I do not know how much a difference that makes. I will tell you this, I would love to make a mere 5 basis points a day guaranteed on futures.

Nothing like NG futures for sure. One Natural Gas future swung $7,000 per contract over the last two days and closed exactly where it started. A short squeeze, then a plunge when the FA was no there.

I am leveraged in eurodollar futures and options and that to me is a safer bet that treasuries.
