S2, I was watching Buchanan and Press last night and they had on a reporter from the sleazy Weekly Standard. He talked about the Iraqi/Al Qaida connection and how the White House had long had proof of this connection. When somebody asked, "why wouldn't they show this proof to the public as they come under fire," he tried to veer off topic. I can understand the President. He isn't the first one to suffer from hubris in that position. LBJ and Nixon certainly did. But these so-called reporters talking about documents that can't be seen are ridiculous. It is like Prince Charles and his alleged boyfriend. If you can't show some proof, why spin the story as being 100% accurate?
