This has nothing to do with strength. It is headstrong stubbornness, on a course the people who elected him strongly oppose. Assuming that we actually choose people to lead us with respect for our opinions, decisions, and preferences, Blair's leading the UK into war at Bush's side against the express wishes of his people is not a laughing matter.
