The DOW & NAZ advanced further in Clinton's 8 years then it did in Reagan/Bush 12 years by a very long shot.

In addition Clinton left the US with a surplus having started with the largest budget deficit in US History and having created (net) 22+ million jobs.

The National DEBT while under the 12 years of Reagan/Bush grew at an annual compound rate of 13.28%. That was at a rate of 4.22 times that of inflation.

Bush II is doing the very same thing -- which is to borrow the economy from our kids. Bush is on the verge of being the first president since Wilson to go an antire term without creating a single job. He is down roughly 2.4 million to date in spite of the recent "credit card" run up these last two/three months.
