Great! So we take another step on this deflationary spiral : 1. Investment 2. Over-investment and excess debt 3. Excess capacity 4. Weakness in pricing power 5. Devaluation 6. Competitive Devaluation 7. Protectionism & Tariffs <--- WE WERE HERE 8. Beggar-thy-neighbor <----- NOW WE ARE HERE! 9. Plant closing and debt defaults -------------------------------------------------- It is pretty tough even if we had competent guys running the show. But with a bunch of pro-rich, belligerent Chickenhawks(TM) at the helm, things are pretty bleak! :-(
