Ok Scott - I have a few questions that perhaps you can elaborate on...

First, What efficiencies does a customer obtain from implementing the Border Manager product? The measure that I would look at would include the % utilization savings (in throughput) from a dedicated T1 line (2) Assume the implementation of a network application that utilizes resource balancing algorthums (ie. Novell's ManageWise application) and (3) A software/hardware RAID disk cashe system intallation throughout the network.....How much overall throughput utilization efficiency will a typical customer achieve? 10%, 20% or over 50%. My guess is 4%-10% but anything over 20% (IMO) would be a killer product.

Second, Do you have any 'beta test' results that show an efficiency gain of greater than 20% (based on the above constraints)?

If BorderManager is going to be the next $1 Billion revenue product from Novell.....You must show your customers the savings $$$ in overall 'efficiency' enterprise utilization. The security features are a given as our customers already expect this from the NDS Directory standard.

Finally, from your 'beta test' results, what are you finding as the typical storage requirements for customers that install Border Manager? 100MB?, 1-5 Gigabytes?, over 1 Tera bytes of required online storage? Also please define the size of the typical enterprise user...state in terms of # of nodes (which is equivalent to No. of NetWare licenses).
