NI--I don't know what history you have with MZ, but there is obviously some. I would have never raised these questions here if I thought you might attack him personally. While I appreciate the scientific information and opinions you give (a lot), I want you to know that I think some of your comments to him are out of line, especially the snide remark about his being "syntactically challenged." As you know, English is not his first language. Furthermore, the whole tone of your post to him is quite arrogant (which you accuse him of) and insulting, which seems to me rather unprofessional behavior for the writer of a newsletter. It is quite possible to disagree with someone in a more civil manner.
