Here's an inspirational commentary from my son, when he was about 4 or 5: We'd left church and I asked him about the Gospel, which, he replied, was about Jesus curing a man who'd been lowered through the ceiling to see him. Jesus cured him on the basis of his strong faith. I asked my son if he thought Jesus was a good person, to which he replied (of course) "yes". I then asked if he wouldn't like to be like Jesus? To my surprise, he said "no". I asked "why not?" "Because I like being me." Come to think of it, I like him being him, too. Gotta hand it to the kids, they really cut right to the point.
