Yes the fact that I have an open mind is a good thing.

Of course that's not really what you meant by your comment. But I guess sarcasm is easier then dealing with the facts. The article you quoted made a big issue of the idea that an unjust state can not survive. I don't think that's true but if it is the Arab states (and the Palestinian Administration under Arafat) are more unjust to Arabs then Israel is to Arabs. A reasonable argument can be made that Israel as a democracy and an ally and a recipient of a lot of aid should be held to a higher standard. I won't argue against that idea but if we are to hold Israel to a higher standard that fact should be recognized. Israel can possibly be looked at as not meeting that higher standard (even if the US might also not meet the standard if we were surrounded by hostile countries and subject to almost daily suicide bombings), but it meets and exceeds any standard the Palestinians or any Arab country can meet. If its true that "A state lacking justice cannot survive", then perhaps a majority of states in the world, and probably all of the Arab states won't last long.
