The classified annex was not an analysis of the substantive issue of the relationship between Iraq and al Qaeda, and it drew no conclusions.

Individuals who leak or purport to leak classified information are doing serious harm to national security; such activity is deplorable and may be illegal.

I was speaking about the Atta meetings in Prague. There have been many conflicting reports. I read a report that had Atta in the US at the time of the supposed meeting in Prague.

All I'm saying is that if there was a definitive case for going to war in Iraq because of a 9-11 connection, then the President should have clearly laid that out. More recently the President has stated that there was no connection between Saddam and 9-11.

There have also been many reports that the connection between Saddam and Al Qaeda were few. That many analysts agreed that Saddam and bin Laden were not working closely together, but had some contacts. That the secular Saddam did not trust the Islamist bin Laden.

One leaked index of reports, does not in fact mean that this data can be relied on, in fact the DOD memo says that it cannot be relied upon.

Therefore at this time we are no better informed than we were before the leak. We can count on this administration to keep us in the dark.
