We REALLY REALLY need to get away from having health care tied to your job. One trend that is generally under the job measurement index is that a lot of people have decided to work for themselves, often using the Internet, rather than trying to find work in a greatly downsized profession, such as telecommunications, or taking a job that pays a pittance. ALso, get the states to stop meddling in this area. I could get health care from my company except I live in NJ, where state rules prevent them from offering it competitively. There is hope that this situation will change, and it can't come too soon for me.
