Yes, and all water flows downhill. But most people notice some difference between Niagara Falls and, say, the lower reaches of the Hudson River.

The catastrophic collapse of value of German currency in 1923 was different from what is likely to happen to the U. S. dollar under current conditions.

A very good thing to own in Germany in 1923 was eggs, or even better, a ham.

I think the best thing to own right now is some kind of share in commodities, especially energy.
