few things:
1) delivery means were found
2) no one argues the fact that old stockpile of nerve gases existed
3) Sadam refused to provide not only detailed documentation of how nerve gasses were destroyed but also the location where those chemicals were destroyed. It seems no one remembered where they were destroyed. The burden of proof was on Saddam and hence Saddam violated peace treaty.
4) UN did not have guts to take appropriate actions - the story is way to similar to League of Nations not taking actions against Hitler

5) Bush did what needed to be done
