What exactly was found? 2) no one argues the fact that old stockpile of nerve gases existed But none were found. 3) Saddam refused to provide not only detailed documentation of how nerve gasses were destroyed but also the location where those chemicals were destroyed. It seems no one remembered where they were destroyed. The burden of proof was on Saddam and hence Saddam violated peace treaty. Saddam said that he had no chemicals. We didn't find any either. When asked, he said they were destroyed. He might not have had any evidence. What kind of evidence would there be if the were incinerated, or neutralized with other chemicals and disposed of? 4) UN did not have guts to take appropriate actions - the story is way to similar to League of Nations not taking actions against Hitler Neocon red herring. UN had weapons inspectors back in the country. Bush made them leave so that he could invade. 5) Bush did what needed to be done The jury is still out on that one. From my viewpoint he did more than was justified by the evidence. Pre-emptive war is the Bush doctrine. It is not the doctrine of the people of the United States, and it never has been before. Orca
