Last COT shows Large Traders and Commercials net short in S&P and NASDAQ:

Will be interesting to see if there was a widening of Large vs Small traders in this week's report.

Everyone has read ad nauseum the last week about money supply dropping and foreign fund flows ex-Japan going significantly negative. All this stuff is showing me that finally, on top of sentiment indicators, the selling has begun.

But where is the money going? Gold isn't rising except in $US, bonds aren't going anywhere, markets in Japan, China, & Europe look even worse than the US (so far) ... looks like we are entering a liquidity crisis.

If the FED has actually been monetizing debt in the past week, as some posts have alluded with good reasoning... then the situation could be even worse than the outward appearance.
