Whatever the reason for the threat, the threat exists.
Israel has been more restrained then most countries would be in response to such a threat. Perhaps more restrained then the US would be.
What would you have her do? Commit the Palestinians to genocide? Twice as many Palestinians have died as Israelis. She is showing less restraint than the Brit. showed Zionist terrorists. Once again, you make the Israelis look like saints...........they are a long way from that. And really, its not all Israelis, its the religious and political right who are the perpetrators of most of the garbage.

Kind of like the US except we usually didn't bother to pay the indigenous people or we paid them a few dollars worth of trinkets...
The indigenous people in the US did not have title to the land nor did they object to the Europeans......at least not at first nor did they even have villages or cities. Only much later did they begin to realize their mistake.
But in some ways there are similarities. Its why we ended up paying the native Americans large sums of money, setting aside huge tracts of land for them and providing them special benefits. How much money have the Israelis paid the Palestinians for the property they confiscated in 1948, or the land they took over in the WB since the 1967 war?

Almost anything can be call terrorism, but much of what Israel did isn't much like what most people think of as terrorism. Some of the pre-state activities of some Israeli groups were terrorist in nature, but not to the extent of, or for as long of duration as, the current Palestinian terrorism.

What about the ones in the WB or Gaza? They have no freedoms.
Most nations would not have done so under the circumstances. Israel would be insane to give a state to the Palestinians if they Palestinians don't recognize Israel and renounce terrorism. And of course the exact borders have to be worked out but over this border dispute the Palestinians blow up dance clubs, pizza places, and busses, and target and kill children and other people who can not or are not offering violent resistance.
Israel has no right to keep the Palestinians people as refugee in order to assuage its own fears. Its in violation of innumerable UN resolutions and human ethics.
