What would you have her do? Commit the Palestinians to genocide?

No I didn't say Israel should be harsher only that many would and in the past the US has been.

Twice as many Palestinians have died as Israelis.

If the Israelis showed the same "restraint" that the Palestinians show it would be more like 100x then 2x. Being more powerful isn't a moral fault.

Once again, you make the Israelis look like saints.

No I'm not, infact I explicity said otherwise. I'm just saying they are demons, and they aren't even acting as badly as the Palestinians are.

The indigenous people in the US did not have title to the land

They where the people living on it and using it, and in many cases the Palestinians didn't have title either.

nor did they object to the Europeans

Some of them objected quite forcibly. They tended to die.

at least not at first nor did they even have villages or cities.

Not cities (at least not in what is now the US, further south there was cities) but some of the tribes and confederations had pretty good sized settlements and real political structure. You where not talking about a few small scattered groups of people.

Its why we ended up paying the native Americans large sums of money, setting aside huge tracts of land for them and providing them special benefits.

Huge tracts of land in out of the way places, often in the desert and often that we forced them in to. As ethnic cleansings go it was more benign then most but it was in many cases ethnic cleansing.

Check out the bombing of the King David Hotel......if that isn't terrorism, I don't know what is:

Which is why I said (and you quoted it so I don't think you missed it) "Some of the pre-state activities of some Israeli groups were terrorist in nature". The Hotel was the British HQ so the attack was sort of on the borderline between guerilla warfare and terrorism, but since the perpetrators knew that innocent people would be killed, and that in fact part of the building was still being used as a hotel, I have no problem calling the people who did it terrorists.

However there is another side of the story. At least some sources say that warning was provided to try to minimize civlian casultees and the Jewish National Council denounced the bombing.

BTW the Zionists who committed this travesty were proud of what they had done.......just like the suicide bombers.

The difference is that the Palestinian Authority, and apparently the majority of the Palestinian population is proud of the suicide bombers. (That last part is uncertain though as Palestinians face a lot of pressure to support such actions, they don't want to be seen as opposing the cause, in fact opposing the radicals can be dangerous, possibly resulting in charges of collaberation and quick execution.)

What about the ones in the WB or Gaza? They have no freedom.

They have more then the Arabs do in a number of Arab countries, and part of there lack of freedom is directly imposed on them by Arafat and the Islamic radicals (not acting in concert but each group imposing a level of control over different areas or different people within an area).

Israel has no right to keep the Palestinians people as refuge to order to assuage its own fears.

Every governments first duty is to its own people's security. Countries that fail to consider that a primary duty don't last when their security is threatened. The Palestinians could have also been more free if they had accepted peace with Israel. Do the PA and Hammas have no right to keep the Palestinian people in a violent unfree state because they want to shift the map a few miles in their favor?
