There is another interesting historical analogy:
Taliban killed mostly Muslims supposedly for their own benefits
Russian communists killed mostly citizens of Soviet Union and mostly ethnic Russians for their own benefits.
Chinese communists slaughtered 100 mln Chinese for the better future
Hitler started from Germans...
Al of the above happened without Mossad participations

So Al-Qeda's victims should be mostly Muslims
since Al-Qeda have its own vision what is "Arab cause" that might be different from vision of the majority of population.
As Americans more efficently protect themselfs you expect to see more victims and more bombing in the Musslim countries
