Your analysis raises the question for the industry where are the critical bottlenecks in the capacity to service the customer(project management, identification, code remediation, testing, etc). We should have an idea of when the service becomes moot as it is time bound and thus, the valued added chain terminates for Y2K. We can then determine the basis for future cash flows. In reality, we may never know until after the fact.
