If western culture is becoming more influential it is not an imposition it is the choice of the people who choose to partake in certain aspects of western culture. To start, there is our financial and military support of Israel. You don't believe that is perceived as influential by Muslim nations in the ME? We are certainly meddling in the political affairs of almost all ME countries. In our aid packages and their conditions, and many other ways. That said, I should have used the word "political" instead of "cultural" in my original statement. Our companies export our culture, our government exports our politics. John
