Searle, OK, maybe not religious in the conventional sense but that holier-than-thou attitude of 'i know what is right and morally correct and i'm so certain of my knowledge of what is right and moral that i can make statements presuming everyone agrees with my assessment of right and moral without even feeling a little silly or arrogant making these statement cause dammit, i just KNOW what is right and moral'. And maybe a moron can make these kind of statements without second thoughts but when a presumably reasonably intelligent person makes them, i wonder... john
