The war is Afghanistan instead was a true war on terror which had the backing of all.

But it would not have been had the French and Russians had multi-billion oil deals and international debt at stake.

It's clear that all of the delays over the course of 12 years related to tolerating Iraq's continued intransigence was in deference to both of those nation's oil and economic interests.

But it continues to amuse me that people such as yourself can only point out some possible US interest in Iraq's oil..

To you folks, it doesn't matter in the least that the UNSC was PREVENTED from carrying out its charter because of the selfish interests of those nations.
