If we don't know how the climate is changing and how, or even if, our activities are effecting it, what exactly are we supposed to plan? Do you think we should grind our economic activity to a halt, just in case? Maybe that would make things worse and not better! Or maybe it would have no effect at all, and we should concentrate our energies on being able to adapt to whatever changes are coming down the pike.
