Prius - I did a quick test drive in a 2nd generation Prius last week, and I was impressed - well engineered.

However, to really benefit from the better mileage, I would need to drive it A LOT. Which means I would want comfortable leather seats, instead of the "just-okay" cloth seats - they did a good job, but a heavier leather seat would be better.

I expect this will happen by the next generation.

As for health effects, they wil show up more in places with high population density like Los Angeles, than in places like Montana and Nevada.
