I agree with that and would add --

Foreigners getting out of treasuries because of a falling dollar?? -- that just doesn't happen.

As consumers pull back here -- there will even be more of an impetus for foreigners to buy treasuries for a while as they must to competitively devalue their currencies --

After all it's not how much their currencies strengthen vs. the dollar, but how much they strengthen with respect to their neighbors that determines how big a slice of the shrinking pie they get ...

This should be obvious already. Look at how far the dollar has slid and treasuries are still bought.
