Windows 2000 shipping 8/98. Contact your local Apple authorized dealer. With Intel users rejecting Windows '95 in droves (relative to the installed base and despite an unprecedented marketing campaign); and with Windows '98 ('99?) projected to add only an embedded browser, would anyone care to bet against MSFT licensing Rhapsody code to use as the basis for its next consumer-level OS? And, if/when such an announcement were made, would anyone then care to speculate on the effect on AAPL's stock price? soup PS. On the subject of the year 2000, wouldn't this knock out the "millenium" problem?
