I don't know where you are located, but all three states on the West Coast have been traumatized by the deregulation of the electricity market in California and the subsequent price manipulation which raised rates in the region between 20% and 200% region wide.

People on the West Coast largely understand that Re-regulation in certain situations is the wise course of action.

"Deregulation", similarly to another buzzword "Free Trade", is being reexamined by the public in light of the horrible results each are producing for the bulk of the population.

The police riot in Miami at the FTAA meeting is not going to sit comfortably with a lot of Americans. Nor should it. It is a case of police repression in the name of corporate greedheads, and it won't play well with honest and concerned Americans.

The mainstream media may try to suppress this news, but it will get out:
