Christine, Jeng and all: I feel this thread is a fine idea....probably the last time I will fulfill that requirement. Ms. Bartley I believe you have even ventured into that wacky of all wacky threads in SI....the venerable GOOFS. Your discription of your time spent in the great northwest made me sad. Sad that I wasn't there with you , would have beat the crap out of shoveling snow in the great northeast. Jeng , you have a nice sense of humor....but before you get to feeling too picked upon, you and Christine should compare shunned stories.. an english major on SI ?? By the way Ms. B, what is a comma splice? My essays in eng. comp. 101, were sadistically ravaged by my English teacher....her excuse, comma splices. I have been psychically damaged my whole adult life because of this embarassing shortcoming. I hope grammar, spelling and punctuation rules will not be strictly enforced here. If you get a chance drop by the coffee shop and visit us confused souls. We could use a little humor. You can feel our pain. Good karma to yaall.
