You don't think that Operation Iron Hammer has anything to do with the increased number of attacks?

The idea is to reduce the number of attacks on US military and civilians.

If those attacks are reduced, that would be a good thing.

However, we are seeing attacks increase. There are more dead and wounded since "Mission Accomplished" than during the mission, this number is not decreasing but is accelerating.

The solution is to internationalize the occupation. To do that requires relinquishing absolute control and dole of the profiteering contracts in the hundred billion or so range, not to mention control of oil revenues, that the adminstration hastily declares not of interest, yet retains control of.

The US excuse is that "we did the job, we should control the result". Two wrongs don't make a right. Allowing shared control would povide incentive, preventing control prevents it, and provides further recruiting incentives to fight "imperialist US".

It was announced today that further escalation of attacks are expected on US military and diplomatic corps.
