Kerry is making a big push in Iowa. He's actually more likely to catch Dean there than NH if you believe the polls.
Just 5% behind Dean or less.

Kerry just needs to start moving up. But with a crowded field it's difficult, and I'll bet 3/4ths of Dem voters are still wishy-washy, like more than one candidate, or are undecided. 44% undecided in the last national poll, but a lot more than that could change their minds before election time.

New poll today once again shows Kerry and Clark running strongest against Bush and Dean doing weakly, 5% behind.

Kerry or Clark 7% behind Bush
Dean, Edwards, Lieberman 12% behind

This is becoming a clear pattern and I think it has to do with war heroism in a war-time election year. The sooner Dems pay attention to that poll rather than others the better, because this is about beating Bush. NH voters should wise up, but on the other hand, when has NH cared what the rest of the country thinks? They went for Tsongas, McCain, etc. Perfect spot for Dean. Especially with five other candidates. But Kerry must do a lot better there. He has to or else.
