"There is every reason to believe these attacks will resonate. For starters, seniors with low drug expenses will be net losers under the GOP bill once they pay their premiums and deductible. Yet they will be pressured to sign up by stiff late enrollment penalties. Worse, many seniors will have their gold-plated private retiree coverage canceled, and end up with the inferior government benefit"

retirees are going to be very upset with increase rates in medicare and little or no return and the out of pocket costs for coverage. I see corporations dumping prescription drug coverage as fast as they can. Next year this could really bite Bush. Even if there is something in the bill to prevent corporations from dropping plans watch them raise rates so much people will be forced to leave them.
