Right, there's a choice of web addresses, forms, and user names in the auto complete tab... you're right, I unchecked forms and it worked... many, many, thanks... I can now search without that annoying tab popping up all damn the time, it was beginning to grate on my nerves...<g> many thanks...<g> GZ
