This case is going to make it very difficult for our guys to operate in the field. Some may be tempted to avoid taking prisoners. In a firefight nobody questions the number of enemy fatalities. It seems now they do count the number of enemy you scare.

Appreciate your opinion. I felt the same, but then, WDIK? Is there anything that we as ordinary peon citizens out here in Red, but-surrounded-by-Blue-land, can do about this?

Our Military are putting their lives on the line, every single day and night they are in Iraq (or any other place we have directed them to go).

It would certainly seem to me that the rules of engagement would take into consideration that an enemy combatant "just might" be trying to kill our soldiers, and that our comanders " just might" be trying to avoid that possibility.
