Room - you are starting to sound like the Alpha guys - each rev of the Alpha got those kind of rave reviews, and Alpha advocates were always claiming that a 'can of whoop-ass' was about to be served up.

By the way, Alpha, a 'dead' processor, currently outsells Itanium by 3 to 1 even if we accept Oteliini's numbers.

Also, a test of Opteron versus Itanium had opteron running neck and neck on virtually every benchmark. The difference was the Itanium system cost ten times as much as the Opteron system.

But keep up the cheerleading.
