Joan, a couple of thoughts: Martin couldn't have succeeded as Finance Minister if Chretien hadn't been supportive all these years in the first place ... Nevertheless, to the extent that this guy's analysis matters, this is no surprise, it's been known for months that Martin would be our next PM ... sell the news?
