Maurice: When the time is right the Republic of China (Taiwan)and The Peoples Republic of China (mainland China)will reach an accord and some timetable for steps toward the assimilation of Taiwan with the mainland. Sabre rattling aside, I doubt there will ever be any blood shed unless there is outside interference in the process. Jim
