Kerry is strongest against Bush or tied with Clark per 13 out of 14 polls. Dean is the weakest or tied for the weakest in most of those polls.

Dean is a major problem for the Dems' chance of beating Bush. With so many candidates, could the farthest left least experienced major candidate with 15% solid support trip up the others? Maybe, but Dean might trip up himself as well. He gaffes a lot and has a major electability issue which has only begun to be discussed in the media. So far, the media has given Dean a free ride, with the help of the GOP, but that could change quickly.
