yeah sure it is. I'll tell you something Wayne, the northeast and west who have the highest majority of electoral votes just sat and watched as this nutty right wing stole their way into power. Bush was thought to be fairly moderate and after all what could these religious zealots really do anyway. Well, the reality is that they have done incredible, monumental damage to your average agnostic voter which is most people. The god squad is the minority regardless of how much noise you make. And these right wing extremists started passing a bunch of completely intolerable bills as far as the majority of the country is concerned, and they started an unnecessary war in order to push their freaky agenda... they interfered in medical matters such as Terry Schiavo and PBAs, these things are issues for MDs not far right nutcases.... well, all this bad stuff has happened and now, the right is sitting on a precipice which will end VERY BADLY for them in 04. The right will suffer a widespread defeat in congress and the presidency and it will take years, maybe decades to recover. So prepare yourself because the separation of church and state is coming back and gay marriage will be legalized etc. because most people think someones sexual origin is none of anybody's business. And most people don't think prayer in school is a good idea, and most people want health education to include condoms.

If you want to live in the 1600s, move to the middle east where they pray 6 hours a day.
