The hidden good news in this negative column may be that Netscape is bundling CorelCentral (and maybe other parts of WordPerfect Suite?) with Communicator. Communicator has gotten very good early reviews and Netscape, despite the illegal efforts of Microsoft to put it out of business by giving away Internet Explorer, still has well over 50% of the Browser market. Could mean entry into some corporate sites. Small item from PC Week on CorelCentral: "A beta of Corel's revamped PIM, CorelCentral 8, shows potential for strong integration of personal information and the Web. Corel officials said the product would ship by the end of the month, but the beta PC Week Labs examined last week was missing several features, such as the ability to customize address book fields. The personal information manager component of Corel's WordPerfect Suite 8 integrates with Netscape's Communicator to provide E-mail, discussion groups and Web browsing capbilities, making it much easier to organize personal information."
