Anyone familiar with the M-14, the M-16, the CAR-15 and the M-4 would select the M-14 only as a last resort. Glad you like the artwork. You are right about the M-14. Basically a clip fed auto version of the M-1. I don't like the stories I read about, "I hit that Iraqi with two rounds and he kept coming." But, ya gotta accept trade-offs. My favorite post to you recently was Schoomakers adroit handling of Hillary during a hearing. I love the crocodile tears from the Congressional Democrats about how mistreated our poor troopers are. They don't give a shit about them. It is simply a way to get at Bush. They have voted against giving the troops more for years. Never forget that incident in the West Wing back in '93 when one of the new staffers told a DOD type, "We don't talk to people in uniforms."
