Dean has about the same support Nader did in 2000 so far, plus a few unions. Not a single top Democratic leader has endorsed him and there are no more unions available, so maybe he's stuck with what he's got now. None of the other candidates will endorse Dean if they drop out. They will endorse each other. If Dean can't get above 15-20% he's not going to get the nomination. So far with all the Dean hoopla, he's stick stuck around 15%, tied with Clark with the other three top guys 2-5% behind them. As for the big story about Dean raising all the money, that's changing. Kerry now has 25 million the same as Dean (by putting 5 mill of his own in) and Clark is raising more than anyone now. There is no way Dean will get 2 million people to send him $100 unless he gets the nomination. More like 300,000. A lot of the Dean dream is hype.
